2026 Stewardship

As we conclude the active portion of the 2026 stewardship campaign, we wish to extend our gratitude to the entire congregation. However, additional pledges are still required. Therefore, if you have been waiting until the last moment to contribute, now is the appropriate time to do so.

Over the past several weeks, we have engaged in meaningful discussions about the various ways your generous gifts help shape the success and growth of SUM. We've explored how your support impacts different programs, initiatives, and the overall mission, highlighting the importance of your continued involvement and generosity. Your contributions are fundamental in helping us create a vibrant, innovative, and impactful community that strives to make a difference.

Education is a key to our mission at SUM. It touches every age group of our community and every building on our campus, serving as the foundation for personal growth, community development, and lifelong learning.

Fellowship is a central and defining theme of Christianity, emphasizing the importance of community and shared faith. The church is not merely a physical building or an institution, but a vibrant gathering of people who come together to support, encourage, and grow together. This collective spirit fosters bonds of love and trust, enabling our congregation to navigate life's challenges and celebrate its joys.

We are dedicated to the vital work of Mission and Evangelism, actively showcasing how SUM plays a pivotal role in spreading the Good News. Whether it is a VIM trip out of State or our participation in the local events of Simsbury SUM, members rise to meet the call to our mission work and evangelism. We also provide our Service and Care, where we, as the congregation, support each other while growing together in Christ.

Our worship services and activities profoundly influence every aspect of our church. They not only impact the budget, guiding financial priorities and allocations, but also actively involve every member of our congregation, fostering a deep sense of community and shared purpose. Additionally, our worship uses every campus building.

An electronic pledge form is available here (www.sumct.org). Paper pledge cards are also available at the church.

As members, we pledge our Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Talents, and Witness, as reminded at every baptism. We thank everyone at SUM for participating in the ministries of our church. You make our Mission Possible!
