Church Council Meeting Nov. 8 for Proposed Ministry Blueprint

Tomorrow there will be a Church Council Meeting to provide you with another opportunity to play a significant role in the Understanding SUM Together Initiative begun in July under the guidance of Revs Mel Kawakami, Dennis Winkleblack, and Deb Clifford.

The process began with a 15-question congregation survey in late summer followed by the Wesley Hall workshop on September 13. Tomorrow we will meet again in Wesley Hall, after the combined 10:00 service.

The Ministry Blueprint you received via email or in a hardcopy here at church has been developed by the SUM Leadership Team, including Pastor DH. This Ministry Blueprint is a culmination of the action items we discussed during the September 13th workshop, highlighting those items you voted to be most important.

Please review the document carefully before the meeting. It may appear to be a lot of information, but the Leadership Team will walk us through the document. The Blueprint contains actionable priorities in logical groupings to help us plan for the future. The sequence will be fully explained during the meeting. Please come prepared to ask questions and offer comments. A ratified Ministry Blueprint will give us confidence that we are truly Making Room for More.
