Assisted Hearing in the Sanctuary
Having trouble hearing Pastor DH’s sermon?
Seeing Len Bobinski come out wearing a crazy hat, but you can’t hear what he is saying?
Want to have a more immersive experience when the choir, CAYA, or Kari performs?
Thanks to a generous gift from Jan and Harley Bennett, SUM has you covered.
As you enter the sanctuary from Wesley Hall or the back door by the elevator, SUM’s assisted hearing devices are available for you on top of the brown cabinet. They are about the size of an old pager, so people often walk right past them. We even have headphones hanging with them, if you need them. Best of all, the devices are easy to use. They are constantly being charged while they are in the dock. You just need to pull one out. On one side, there is a headphone jack, and on the other side, there is a jack that can connect to your existing hearing device. When you are finished, you just put the device back into the dock and hang up your headphones. If you have any questions about how to use them, please ask one of the ushers.
